Placing a DP-6 or UP-4 tonearm back in the box for storage
Important: A DP-6 must be stored in the same orientation as when mounted on a turntable - as indicated
by the arrows on the ends of the box.
Turn the antiskating handle so that its extension points towards the opposite corner of the black plane:
If the arm bushing should be stored too, adjust the nut to a gap of approximately 2.5 mm:
If the armbase is to be transported (and not just stored), place the black rubber spacer underneath the body of the
armbase at the counterweight rod so that the end is flush with the side of the black plane. Keep the counterweight
rod pressed down to keep it in place. Then place the armbase (and bushing) into the box. Be careful to keep the
antiskating handle and the girder part of the lifter free of the foam.
