Placing a DP-8 tonearm back in the box for storage
Important: A DP-8 must be stored in the same orientation as when mounted on a turntable - as indicated
by the arrows on the ends of the box.
Turn the antiskating handle so that its extension points towards the VTA spindle:
Adjust VTA so that the bottom of the bearing pillar is flush with the bottom of the arm bushing:
If the armbase is to be transported (and not just stored), place the black rubber spacer underneath the body of the
armbase near the VTA spindle so that the end is flush with the side of the black plane. Press up on the
counterweight rod slightly to keep the spacer in place. Then place the armbase into the box. Be careful to keep the
antiskating handle and the girder part of the lifter free of the foam.
